Adilkhan Yerzhanov, a film director and scriptwriter, was born in Djezkazgan, Kazakhstan, 7 August 1982. In 2009 he graduated from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts, as Film Director. Adilkhan is participant of Berlinale Talents, Member of the APSA (Asia-Pacific Screen Awards) Academy. He has directed multiple short films, one documentary (History of Kazakh Cinema, 2015) , and five full-length feature films (the latest being Night God, 2017).
