Ireneusz Grzyb is a Polish film director, screenwriter and editor. Born in 1977 in Łódź, Poland, he graduated from the Leon Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź. As a film editor, he worked on several films that gained international recognition and were selected at a number of international film festivals, among them Rogalik (Warsaw FF, Oberhausen FF, Chinese Academy Award of Documentary Film, Kraków FF), Psubrat (Warsaw FF, Gdynia FF, Cottbus FF), Koleżanki (Gdynia FF, Warsaw FF, Koszalin). He was awarded with the Jan Machulski Polish Independent Film Award and Stanisław Różewicz Award at the Koszalin Debut Film Festival, The Young and Cinema.
Grzyb started to collaborate with Aleksandra Gowin (co-director of Little Crushes) during his studies in Łódź. Their first film Druciki was successful at the local market and was picked up by national and pay TV (Canal+). Their first feature film – Little Crushes – had its world premiere at the Rotterdam IFF 2014 (Bright Future section).
